Joe Otin is a digital advertising specialist and media research analyst with three decades of experience. He is the CEO of The Collective, a digital ad agency, and the chairman of the Advertising Standards Board of Kenya. He was granted the Marketing Warrior Award by the Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) in 2010.
He is a past president of Pan African Media Research Organization (PAMRO) and has served as chief judge for the annual awards for both the Public Relation Society of Kenya (PRSK) and the MSK. He is a columnist in Business Daily Africa and regularly contributes articles on marketing communications.
Joe is the chairman of the Resource Mobilisation Committee of WWF-Kenya. He has been a Rotarian for 20 years and currently serves as the Rotary International (RI) Representative to UNEP and the Co-Chairman of the Rotary/UNEP Partnership on the Adopt-a-River Initiative for Sustainable Development.
He has served as the vice chairman of the RI Communications Committee, a member of the RI Membership Committee, Africa’s Area Coordinator, Rotary Public Image Coordinator, Rotary Coordinators Institute Facilitator, District Governor, and the Co-Chairman of the Rotary UN Day, Nairobi.
